London, 8 October 2026 – Omni Partners (“Omni”) is pleased to announce the appointment of Elliot Tahmasebi as Partner. Based in London, Elliot strengthens Omni’s existing sourcing and execution capabilities in the lower mid-market. His focus will primarily be on founder-led businesses operating in the financial, professional and business services sectors. Elliot’s appointment is the latest in a series of senior appointments as Omni continues to scale its investment activity across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
Elliot joins to drive Omni’s expansion in these sectors by leveraging his deep network and knowledge of the ecosystem. He will lead new platform investments targeting profitable privately-owned businesses that are well-positioned within their markets. Working closely with the Omni team, he will source and execute new investment partnerships with ambitious founders and management teams and support those businesses in delivering their strategies and creating sustainable value.
Elliot has more than a decade specialising in financial and business services, including regulated segments of the market. As Managing Director of Private Equity at Copper Street Capital, he has developed significant experience of leading platform investments and acquisitions and working with founders and management teams to build and implement strategies to scale services businesses.
Charles Gallagher-Powell, Head of PE and Partner at Omni, said:
“Financial, professional and business services are some of the most active consolidation markets in the UK and among the hardest to get right – regulation, integration, culture and client retention all have to be managed at once. Elliot has spent a significant amount of time leading platform investments and add-on acquisitions in exactly this space. He brings real depth to our tech-enabled services strategy and to how we build businesses after we invest.”
Elliot Tahmasebi, Partner at Omni added:
“Omni stands out in the lower mid-market for how clearly it thinks about the destination for each business it backs and the building blocks required to get there. This approach suits a sector where scale has to be achieved carefully, and where the strongest businesses over the next decade will be those that invest early in their systems, people and leadership. I look forward to backing entrepreneurial founders and operators to help build those businesses across the UK, Ireland and the Nordics.
